Learn how to make a kite at Missouri CIty Library
Missouri City Branch Library, in conjunction with the City of Missouri City, will present a special kite-making program for families on Saturday, March 9, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, at the Missouri City Community Park, 1700 Glen Lakes Lane.
In this hands-on family activity, those attending will learn how to make a kite. All materials will be provided, except for a tail for the kite. Children must be at least 8-years old to attend, and children between the ages of 8 and 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
The program is free and open to the public. The class is limited to the first 140 kite-making teams.
