March book clubs at Sienna Branch Library offered
Share your love of reading with other book lovers at one of the book clubs that meet monthly at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Sienna Branch Library, 8411 Sienna Springs in Missouri City. New members are always welcome.
Members of the Sienna Book Club meet on the second Monday of the month, beginning at 1:30 pm, in the Large Conference Room. The book club discussion on Monday, March 11, will be on Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand, a novel written by Helen Simonson.
Area booklovers who share the same love for a good mystery, from hard-boiled detective novels to true-crime stories, may wish to join the Booked on Crime Mystery Book Club, which meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month, beginning at 7:00 pm, in the Large Conference Room. The discussion on Tuesday, March 26, will be on Tea Time for the Traditionally Built, a novel written by Alexander McCall Smith.
The book clubs are free and open to the public. For more information, call the branch library at 281-238-2900 or the library’s Public Information Office at 281-341-2677.
