Man robbed in driveway

A New Territory man was robbed at gunpoint in his driveway in the 700 block of Dew Bridge Court, Thursday morning, February 20.

The man told responding deputies that morning, about 10 a.m., he returned home after forgetting his wallet.

Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel said, “Upon his return, when he was getting out of his vehicle, he was confronted by a black male wearing an orange baseball cap who was holding a small handgun. The suspect demanded cash, and the victim complied.”

With cash in hand, the suspect got into a small white car and drove eastbound on Dew Bridge Drive.

The case remains under investigation.
