Everyone is invited to enjoy the festival and participate in activities such as kite flying lessons, a family photo area, various cultural performances and kite flying competitions.

Don’t have a kite?  Don’t worry!  A kite-making workshop will be onsite for children to build, design and take home their own kites as memorabilia.

The kite contest is open to all ages, shapes and sizes. Anyone who wants to compete is encouraged to participate. There is no cost to enter.

Registration will be located at the blue City of Sugar Land tent at the times listed below. First- , second- and third-place trophies will be awarded for each category.
