Just imagine an evening of dancing and memories made to last a lifetime. Imagine no more. The Rainbow Stars Service Unit 5th Annual Father-Daughter Dance was such an event. This “BEARY” special evening was a celebration of the special bond fathers and grandfathers have with daughters and granddaughters of all ages. The girls spent the day preparing their hair and nails, and choosing the perfect dress. Dad was busy dressing in his tuxedo or best suit and practicing the dance steps he has long forgotten.

The doors opened to a “beary” beautifully decorated venue at Parkway United Methodist Church.  The theme for this year’s event was a “Beary” special night with your dad.  Dads and daughters received corsages made by Girl Scout Troop 28109 and of course, posed for commemorative pictures. The fathers spent most of the evening trying to keep up with the younger generation on the dance floor and in the game arcade.  The event was sponsored by Ambassador Girl Scout Troop 721.
