Clements HS graduate elected Freshman Class President at Columbia University

Jillian Ross, a 2012 graduate of Clements High School, is continuing to utilize the leadership skills she developed while in Fort Bend ISD. Ross, who is currently studying biomedical engineering at Columbia University, was elected Freshman Class President of The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.

During her high school career, Ross contributed more than 300 hours of community and school service through such programs and organizations as Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council, Keep Sugar Land Beautiful Youth Board, and the Special Olympics.

She is a 2012 Coca-Cola Regional Scholar and one of only four Texas students to receive a 2011 Nordstrom scholarship.
