FBISD students benefit from “Smiles on Wheels” Event

Approximately 150 Fort Bend ISD students at 34 campuses were recipients of bicycles donated by ABC Dental as part of their “Smiles on Wheels” event. The company worked with FBISD social workers in identifying students who could benefit from the program. Students were selected based on their academic performance and attendance, and their family’s financial hardships.

Special thanks go to FBISD crew members from Facilities and Operations, Maintenance and the Distribution Center, who assisted with the transporting, storing and distributing of bicycles to various drop-off points.

ABC Dental began its partnership with FBISD social workers this school year and during the short time has supported students through its generous donations of school supplies, backpacks and other resources. The company’s employees continue to demonstrate that they have a heart for the community.
