Spring break movies for school-aged kids offered
Have a Spring-Break Movie Break at University Branch Library, 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land, on the UH campus. School-aged children in grades 1 through 5 are invited to watch a series of popular animated children’s movies that will be shown during the week in the library’s Large Meeting Room.
The series begins on Tuesday, March 12, with an award-winning animated feature starring Tom Hanks as the voice of “Woody,” a drawstring cowboy doll. Showtime is 2:00 pm. This movie is rated G.
On Wednesday, March 13, enjoy an award-winning animated feature film about a lion prince named Simba, who is tricked by his Uncle Scar into believing that he killed his father. Showtime is 2:00 pm. This movie is rated G.
The final movie of the week will be shown on Thursday, March 14. In this animated feature film, John Goodman is the voice behind a big, blue, fuzzy monster named James P. (Sully) Sullivan, and Billy Crystal is the voice of Sully’s one-eyed, opinionated sidekick, Mike Wzowski. Showtime is 2:00 pm. This movie is rated G.
