Double death scene believed to be murder and suicide
By LeaAnne Klentzman
Early Monday morning Fort Bend County Sheriff’s 911 operators received a call from a man who said I need to report a murder; he then disconnected the line. Call takers tried frantically to reestablish the call, there was no answer. Scant minutes later patrol deputies arrived at the address provided by the caller and discovered the deceased bodies of a man and a woman; their two little girls were found safe inside the home.
This tragedy began to unfold shortly before eight o’clock Monday morning at a home in the 4500 block of Ferndale Meadows in the King Lakes section of the Cinco Ranch subdivision in north/northwest Fort Bend County.
According to Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel, the deceased couple in the home are believed to be the parents of the two little girls, ages 1 and 4, found inside another part of the home from where the bodies were discovered. At press time no official information had been released on either of the deceased’s identity or manner and cause of their deaths.
As the investigation continues, the children will be staying with relatives said Haenel.
