University Branch Library’s Culinary Book Club to discuss “Green” Dishes
The Culinary Book Club at Fort Bend County Libraries’ University Branch Library will meet on Wednesday, March 20, beginning at 1:30 pm, in the Large Conference Room of the library, located at 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land, on the UH campus. In recognition of St. Patrick’s Day, the topic of the month is “It Ain’t Easy Cooking Green.” Get ideas for cooking with green foods or making green-colored food dishes.
The Culinary Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of every month, and different cooking genres are explored each month. Cooking enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels – from beginners to advanced — are invited to join. Those attending are welcome to bring their own cookbooks and recipes, or they may browse the library’s collection of cookbooks. Share tips, get ideas, and enjoy the camaraderie of other individuals who have an interest in cooking and good cuisine!
The program is free and open to the public. For more information, call the branch library at 281-633-5100 or the library’s Public Information Office at 281-341-2677.
