YMCA Golf Classic scheduled for March 25

For the second year in a row and the sixth time in the last ten years, Fort Bend Toyota and Sterling McCall Lexus agreed to be the Title Sponsors of the Fort Bend County Y’s Annual Golf Classic. This year’s tournament, the Fort Bend Toyota/Sterling McCall Lexus Spring Golf Classic, will be held at Pecan Grove Country Club on Monday, March 25, with a shot-gun start at 11:30AM.
The Y Spring Golf Classic will have a best ball scramble format and include on-course competitions. The tournament competition also includes a chance to win a $500 cash prize at a designated hole through the annual “Hit the Green Contest”. The event will include a delicious lunch and dinner. In addition, golfers will enjoy complimentary on-course beverages and snacks during the course play. Each golfer will receive great goodie bags that will include a shirt, balls, snacks and other exciting gifts. During the dinner and awards ceremony, golfers can participate in both a silent and live auctions that will benefit the Fort Bend Area YMCAs Partners Campaigns.
Available sponsorships include course sponsors, various team sponsorships and individual player sponsorships. Non-playing sponsorships include competition sponsorships, cart sponsorship, beverage station sponsorships, hat sponsorship, bag tag sponsorship, “Hit the Green” sponsorship and tee sign sponsorships
As in the past, all proceeds will go to the Partners Campaign fund of the YMCAs of Fort Bend County, which includes the Fort Bend Family YMCA in Missouri City, the T.W. Davis YMCA in Richmond and the Katy YMCA. Combined, the three YMCA Partners program funds will scholarship or subsidize over 3300 youth, families and individuals.
