FBISD to host “Partnering for Success” Student Career Day

Five hundred Fort Bend ISD Career and Technical Education students from five high schools (Elkins, Hightower, Marshall, Ridge Point and Willowridge) will have the opportunity to take part in FBISD Student Career Day on Friday, April 5. The event will be held from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Missouri City Community Center in the City Hall Complex, 1522 Texas Parkway, Missouri City. Representatives from area businesses will be available to interview students for possible internships or employment.

The participating business and marketing students will be selected based on their job search skills, academic standing, and attendance and behavior records. They will prepare for the event by creating winning resumes, practicing their interview skills, learning to dress professionally, and reviewing details needed to complete job applications.

If you are an employer who is interested in interviewing highly-qualified FBISD high school students for possible internships or employment, then plan to attend this event. Business representatives may also sign up for a complimentary booth by contacting James McClanahan at 281-634-5428 or James.McClanahan@fortbendisd.com.
