Missouri City Branch Library to host Fancy Nancy Tea Party

The Youth Services department at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Missouri City Branch Library will present a special “magnifique” Fancy Nancy Tea Party on Saturday, April 13, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 1530 Texas Parkway.

Children from 3 to 8 years of age are invited to bring the special adult in their lives for an afternoon of everything “fancy.”  Dress in your favorite party clothes and enjoy stories, crafts, photos, and “tea.”

Fancy Nancy is a popular series of children’s books, written by Jane O’Connor and illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser. A young girl with a larger-than-life personality, Fancy Nancy adores all things fancy.

The Fancy Nancy Tea Party is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “Missouri City Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2100, or by visiting the library.
