Central Fort Bend Chamber held Safety Day April 11

On April 11, the Central Fort Bend Chamber Alliance held its inaugural Safety Day at six retail locations throughout Fort Bend County. The events, which were sponsored by Target, HEB, Lowe’s and Kevin Patton State Farm.

Booths and presentations included Fire Safety, conducted by local firefighters; Car Seat Safety Checks (At Rosenberg and Missouri City Target locations only); Fingerprinting; First Aid Safety, provided by OakBend, Texas Critical Care, HealthOne, Total Body Works, RediClinic, and Bike and Board Safety, in which children rode their bikes and skateboards, braved the obstacle course and entered to win a new bike helmet. Pecan Grove Grove Plantation Country Club donated 130 lunches to feed volunteers.
