Gas station in Sugar Land collapses

It made national news. The collapse of a roof of a Texaco gas station in Sugar Land this past Saturday due to the torrential rains and huge balls of hail that seemed to come out of nowhere.  Reportedly, the owner, employees and several customers were inside the Food Mart of the gas station at the 1700 block of Dulles near Lexington Boulevard, when the noticeably sagging ceiling was spotted, and there were popping sounds, too. What would you do?  They all fled out of the gas station store, everyone but the owner.  She called 911, and C– R- A- S- H!  The sinking roof caved in due to the weight of the water and hail. No injuries were reported, but the store…well, it’s a mess!
