Hoodie robber hits Rosenberg shoe store

Rosenberg police are searching for clues in shoe store robbery. Assistant police chief Dallis Warren said Monday that detectives were investigating a robbery at the 3 for $25 shoe Store that occurred Sunday afternoon.

According to Warren a man entered the shoe store located in the 5100 block of Ave H/US 90A in Rosenberg, threatened the clerk with a handgun and demanded cash, then left with loot in hand.

The suspect was described as a black male, 5’7”-5’9”, weighing approximately 200-220 pounds. He was wearing an Orange hoodie with “Texas Longhorns” printed on the front, black pants and black shoes said Warren.

The suspect is believed to have been wearing an unknown type of mask and left the store walking in the direction of Wilson Drive.

Anyone with information is asked to call Rosenberg police at 832-595-3700 or make an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers by calling 281-342-TIPS.
