Things that make you go hummm

Sugar Land police investigated an unusual robbery on Monday, just minutes after 2 p.m., when they were called to investigate an aggravated robbery on Settlers Way Boulevard.

According to reports, the 17 year old victim was attacked in his driveway about 1:40 or so that afternoon. He told police he was standing by or walking to his car when a black man hit him in the head and took about $200 in cash and his watch.

The victim went on to explain to police he must have been knocked unconscious outside of his car because he woke up sitting inside his car.

As police investigated this brazen attack, they noticed the victim had no visible signs of bruising, abrasions, or marks on his head where he was reportedly knocked unconscious. Interestingly, when police arrived on the scene the victim was calmly sitting in his car, talking on his phone in his neatly pressed and starched clothing.

And, although the victim saw the suspect, he was unable to provide any description other than race and the specifics of the attack changed during the interview.

Sugar Land police continue to investigate.
