Toys to benefit Rainbow Room in Fort Bend

Dr Dennis and Mrs Lynn Halford and staff collected toys for the Fort Bend Rainbow Room. The toys will be given to children in the care of Fort Bend County Children’s Protective Services. The Rainbow Room provides emergency and transitional supplies for unmet material needs of children and families in crisis in Fort Bend County.  Standard items stocked within the Rainbow Room include baby formula and food, diapers, baby necessities (blankets, bottles, etc), clothes and shoes for children ages newborn thru 18 years of age, snacks, school supplies, books, stuffed animals, personal hygiene items and educational toys. Special requests can be accommodated when funding allows providing car seats, baby beds, high chairs, and twin / bunk beds.  The room is accessible to the caseworkers 24 hours per day 7 days per week.  Additional information on the Rainbow Room plus contact information can be obtained at www.fbrr.org.
