“Born to be Wild” bowling tournament held

2013 Fort Bend Corporate Challenge winners Kane Russell Coleman & Logan PC.

On May 18, Congressman Pete Olson rolled out the first ball at the Fort Bend Regional Council on Substance Abuse, Inc. 9th Annual Fort Bend Corporate Challenge “Born to be Wild” Bowling Tournament.  Once again Union Pacific Railroad Company stepped up to be the lead sponsor.  Other sponsors include:  Classic Chevrolet Sugar Land, Summus Industries, Sugar Land Exchange Club, Jackson Gilmour and Dobbs, and Connelly Baker Wotring.

This year’s winning team Kane Russell Coleman & Logan PC, took home the coveted Crystal Cup and bragging rights for the next year.  They were closely followed by the teams from Classic Chevrolet Sugar Land and the Exchange Club of Sugar Land.

Funds raised from this event will support the Summer Explosion program for middle school students, High School Leadership Camp, October’s Red Ribbon Week activities, and many other programs provided by Fort Bend Regional Council.
