Family Fun in the Plaza, June 7

Join the fun on Friday, June 7, with critically acclaimed and award–winning vocalist and songwriter, Houston’s own, Kristine Mills for some jazz classics and hard driving blues. Joining this monthly family fun evening is Hope for Three, a local non-profit established to raise autism awareness and provide support to families in the Fort Bend community.

The Giving Spirits Concert Series, hosted by Planned Community Developers, is a way to bring our friends, families and community together for an evening of dancing, live music and festive fun. During the concert, be sure to visit Hope for Three in Sugar Land Town Square and learn about the facts, signs and symptoms of autism and how you can make a difference for a child living with autism.

Autism is a growing epidemic and the leading developmental disability in the United States today. 11 of every 1,000 children in Texas have been diagnosed on the autism spectrum. In our county’s public school system we serve over 2,200 children affected by an autism spectrum disorder. Bring your family, friends and lawn chairs and dance the night away on Friday, June 7, 7:30pm – 9:30pm.
