More than 600 contestants from the Houston and surrounding area participated in the competition.

Superior Medals were awarded to: Rifaa Tajani – 6th grade; Chris Oxley (two superior medals) – 7th grade; and Anton Zhou – 8th grade.

Gold Medal winners were: Katherine Bartos; Catherine Huang; Candice Ma;  Madison Panetti ; Joyce Wang; Emma Watson; Lilian Yang (two gold medals); Rifaa Tajani; Anton Zhou; and Christon Tan.
