Sugar Land Garden Club looks forward to upcoming year

The Sugar Land Garden Club’s new board members met recently and are very excited about the upcoming year.

The club was founded in 1932 and they are over a 150 members strong and always looking for new members to join the fun filled group and enjoy their activities.

They meet at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Sugar Land, the third Tuesday of each month beginning in September.

They are looking forward to their Yearly Garden Art and Yard Sale that will be held in September at the Sugar Lakes Recreation Center.

Proceeds from the sales go toward two scholarships each year and support other garden related agencies

  1. Great event and fantastic concept, we think,…recycling or I should say ‘upcycling all that is rusty, chipped, broken, and worn to use in the garden. That’s what we love here!
