Learn how to use MS Word at library programs
University Branch Library will present a series of basic classes this month on using Microsoft Word 2010. The classes are free, and participants may attend individual sessions or the whole series. The University Branch Library is located at 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land on the UH campus.
The first class, “MS Word Survival Basics,” for version 2010, will take place on Tuesday, July 9, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Computer Lab. Get a basic introduction to using this word-processing software program.
The next class, “MS Word 2010: Intermediate,” will take place on Tuesday, July 16, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Computer Lab. Learn more advanced skills is using this word-processing software program.
The final class, “MS Word 2010: Advanced,” will take place on Tuesday, July 23, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Computer Lab. This class is for individuals who are already familiar with MS Word, but would like to learn more about the advanced features of the software program.
The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “University Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-633-5150, or by visiting the library.
