Bamore road work to begin in Rosenberg

The City of Rosenberg’s contractor, Gonzalez Construction, has begun work on Phase III of the Bamore Road Improvement Project, a multi-phase widening project to convert the existing two-lane asphalt roadway with open drainage ditches from north of Southgate to south of Avenue K.

When Phase III is complete in approximately one year, the new concrete roadway will be consist of three-lanes of concrete curb and gutter with improved drainage and sidewalks along the east side. The intersections at Damascus, Walger, Dallas, Dyer, Avenue M, and Avenue L will be reconstructed as part of the project.
Periodic lane closures will occur, with detour signage placed by the project contractor.

Residents are asked to exercise caution in the area, and to observe all detour and caution signs. General project questions may be directed to Citizen Relations at (832) 595-3310.
