Crime Stoppers Special Alert!

This week Fort Bend County Crimes Stoppers, Inc. will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person/persons responsible for an apartment burglary at a complex near the intersection of West Bellfort at Burney Road just outside of Sugar Land in Fort Bend County.
According to Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel, on Friday, June 21, about 10:50 in the morning, deputies were called to investigate a burglary at the Marquis of Sugar Land apartments.
When they arrived on the scene they discovered what appeared to be “entry” into the apartment through a window adjacent to the front door, said Haenel. When the apartment resident was contacted responding officers learned that he had installed a video system his apartment.
In reviewing the video, deputies could clearly see a man in his mid-20s to early 30s in age, wearing a black shirt with what appeared to be a large skull in either white or gray printed on the front of his T-shirt. He was also wearing black shorts and had a white towel or ripped up white T-shirt in his hands, said Haenel.
A second suspect was described as a Hispanic male, also in his 20s-30s. He had short, black hair and was wearing glasses with black frames. He has been identified however, investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the other suspect.
