The Exchange Club of Sugar Land inducted Robert Kern as this year’s President on June 26. Retired Judge Kern and his officers, board members and club members are planning a great year of service to the Fort Bend community.

For over 100 years, the volunteer efforts of more than 700 Exchange Clubs across the Nation sponsor activities to promote the Prevention of Child Abuse, Development of Youth, Americanism and Community Service. Exchange club of Sugar Land projects like “Santa’s Exchange” which distributes over 10,000 toys annually to underprivileged children, “Walk with Pride” which provides over 900 children with new school shoes, are just two examples of its service to the community.

Exchange also promotes crime prevention, serves senior citizens and children, recognizes military and public safety providers. Each year our fundraiser “Spaghetti Dinner” provides over $100,000 to local charities.
