George Ranch Historical Park celebrates 25th Anniversary

George Ranch Historical Park invites the public to be part of the 25th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, July 13, during regular Park hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In appreciation of the enduring friendship and support of the community over the years, the park is offering FREE admission for everyone, plus 25 cent hot dogs, chips, sodas and sno-cones, while supplies last. In 1988, the George Ranch Historical Park debuted as a living history partnership of the Fort Bend County Museum Association and The George Foundation. The 480-acre interactive outdoor museum tells the story of more than 100 years of Texas history through the experiences of four generations of one family, whose roots date back to Austin’s Old 300 in 1824.
