Sugar Land celebrates the holiday with spectacular pet adoption special

Sugar Land residents Chelsea Nguyen and her son, Andrew, give Ruby a forever home after locating their new family member at Sugar Land Animal Services.

In honor of Independence Day, the Sugar Land Animal Shelter is offering reduced prices on adoptions through July 20.

The adoption fees for dogs and puppies are $50, and cats and kittens are $30.  This is a reduction from $105 and $90, respectively.

These reduced fees include vaccinations, spaying or neutering and a microchip with lifetime registration.

All animals come with a sleepover option that allows prospective families to try out a pet for three to five days.

If it is not the perfect fit, bring them back. If it is love at first sight, return to Animal Services and complete the adoption.

For more information, contact Sugar Land Animal Services, 101 Gillingham Lane, at 281-275-A-DOG (2364).
