Fort Bend County ‘Take A Stand!’

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Fort Bend will be holding a youth bullying prevention program, Take A Stand! on Monday, August 12 and Tuesday, August 13, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at Creekside Christian Fellowship in Needville. Take A Stand! is open to all Fort Bend County Youth who were enrolled in grades 3rd, 4th, or 5th during the 2012 – 2013 school year. This five-part program focuses on bullying prevention, conflict management, teamwork and cultural awareness, and communication.

Take A Stand! is at no cost to participants. To register for the program, please come to Creekside Christian Fellowship located at 16628 Hwy 36; Needville, on Wednesday, August 7 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm or on Sunday, August 11 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. A parent and/or guardian must be present at registration for each child.
