Learning to Serve Others

The children at Sugar Land Baptist Church Power of Praise Camp are on a mission to learn and serve. They learned the importance of feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless and caring for the ill. Acting on what they learned, the kids decorated and gifted mugs to show their appreciation to Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital staff for their service to patients and the community. They also made activity packages for children to do while they are here in the ER or visiting family members. Their gifts are truly appreciated for their thoughtfulness and as a reminder of the importance of serving others.  Shown are Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital employees, the campers, and camp leader. Kim Sprague, Marketing Coordinator; Kaelyn  Bujnoch, Marketing Coordinator; Marcia Barham, Physician Liaison; Jill Perez, Sugar Land Baptist Camp Leader with class.
