Blood Drive Friday, August 30 at First Colony Mall

On Friday, August 30 from 1 to 7 p.m., First Colony Mall partners with KHOU Channel 11 to host the station’s annual blood drive for Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and help save lives. While supplies last, everyone who donates blood or attempts to donate will receive a gift certificate for a free pint of Blue Bell ice cream.

The mobile donor coach will be in the parking lot near the entrance to the Food Court. Appointments are not necessary, but can be made by calling 1.888.482.5663 or visiting The Blood Center’s website at www.giveblood.org. Individuals with appointments will be given priority.

Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good general health. Individuals who are 16 years old and weigh 122 pounds can donate with parental consent. A valid picture ID is required. For more information, visit www.giveblood.org.
