Entries now being accepted for 2013 Jr. Fair Royalty Pageants
You don’t have to cross the pond to have a Royal title. The Fort Bend County Fair will crown the 2013 Fair Prince & Princess, Fair Duke & Duchess and Jr. Fair Queen on September 21, 2013. The young would-be-royals will be competing for titles and will be judged on personality, poise, beauty and western attire. From boots and hats to crowns and sashes, this event is filled with ultimate cuteness in search of our own version of William and Kate.
A winner and three runner-ups will be named in each category. All participants will receive a trophy. Winners will serve as Fair Ambassadors and will be asked to participate in Fair functions and events during the 2013 Fort Bend County Fair.
Registration deadline is until 5:00 pm on Friday, September 6, 2013. The entry fee is $35 and siblings will be given a discount. The 2013 Fair Prince & Princess contests are open to boys & girls ages 4-6 years old. The Fair Duke & Duchess contest is available for boys & girls ages 7-10 years old. Young ladies ages 11-14 years old are eligible to compete for the Jr. Fair Queen crown. All contestants must be a resident of Fort Bend County.
Who will take home the crowns? Be at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 21st as the 2012 Fort Bend County Fair Queen, Ashley Mays and the 2012 Jr. Royalty crown the 2013 Fair Prince & Princess, Duke & Duchess and the Jr. Fair Queen.
