Restaurant teams up with Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital to benefit Pretty in Pink
Veritas Steak and Seafood is offering a unique promotion throughout the month of October to benefit cancer patients at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital.
The restaurant has created special Pretty in Pink menus for both lunch and dinner for the month of October, with a portion of proceeds from every order benefiting the Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital Cancer Fund.
Veritas will donate $3 for every lunch and $7 for every dinner sold from its special menus as part of the Pretty in Pink-Town Square fundraiser, which is scheduled for Friday, October 11.
“This is an excellent opportunity to have a great meal at Veritas and at the same time, benefit local cancer patients in need,” says Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital CEO Chris Siebenaler. “The money raised by this month-long promotion will go directly to the Cancer Fund, which provides financial assistance to patients to continue their fight against cancer.”
“We are honored to be a part of this great community initiative. Together we support the cancer patients in our community while enjoying a delicious meal,” said Kevin Rios, Proprietor of Veritas.
Pretty in Pink-Town Square raised more than $110,000 for the Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital Cancer Fund last year. The money is donated to local cancer patients to help with non-hospital costs such as medical equipment, medications, wigs, child care, transportation and even car or house payments, and other types of non-medical bills.
Veritas Steak and Seafood is located at 1550 Lake Point Parkway in Sugar Land. To make reservations, call 281-491-2901.
