The Conservative Voice column angers some and a pat on the back from others

Dear Editor,

I couldn’t agree more with the recent letter (“Star’s” 9-11-13 paper) questioning why your paper is giving space to The Conservative Voice. It’s not that I don’t want to browse conservative thought, but it ought to at least make some sense. Week after week the column appears to be a random selection of disparate sentences pulled from anyconservativewebsite.com.

They have little relationship to each other and are pieced together like a kidnapper would paste together words cut from a magazine to make a ransom note. Some sentences are in bold, but I can’t ever determine why. It’s a stream of consciousness style of writing that only James Joyce fans could appreciate, or even understand.

Example (from a couple of weeks ago) – “at morph speed”. Did the columnist maybe mean, “warp speed”? It honestly wears me out just trying to make heads or tails of it.

I have learned to expect a few things in every column though – Obama bad Reagan good, Benghazi/impeachment, constitution, conservative principles, blah, blah, blah. How about picking one topic, drill down into it, share some insightful observations, provide some solutions, and please, drop the random bold type. Or better yet, as the other letter suggested, drop the column.
