Sugar Land Police investigate aggravated robbery

Friday morning, just minutes before noon, two men walked into the Verizon Wireless store located in a strip mall near the intersection of US 59 and Texas 99, the Grand Parkway.

According to Sugar Land police, two men entered the store at 11:40 a.m., displayed pistols and forced three employees and a customer to the back of the store. Police spokesman Doug Adolph said, “The men took phones from a storage room and were seen leaving in a gold Buick with paper plates driven by a third man.”

The intruding suspects were described as black males, each about 6’. One was wearing a black t-shirt and covered his face with a red bandana. The other man was wearing a white muscle shirt and a navy hat.
