Don’t miss “My Son Pinocchio” at Fort Bend Theatre now through Oct. 13

Stromboli (Michael Hill) makes his marionettes (L- Elizabeth Andrews and R-Maura Dooley) dance with Pinocchio (Sofia Bauch) when he discovers Pinocchio is stringless in Fort Bend Theatre’s production of My Son Pinocchio.

Join the Blue Fairy, Stromboli and a lively cast of characters as Geppetto journeys beyond the Toy Shop to discover what makes the “perfect child” in Fort Bend Theatre’s delightful production My Son Pinocchio. Shows run Saturday and Sundays at 3 pm, now thru October 13 at 2815 N. Main Street in Stafford.

This family-friendly musical is a magical mix of heartwarming fairytale and action-packed adventure. Follow Pinocchio’s journey from an awkward wooden puppet to a real, live boy and be charmed by Geppetto’s transformation from demanding creator to a real, live father. Aided by the compelling score of Grammy Award-winner and master melodist Stephen Schwartz of Wicked fame, this contemporary rendering still maintains the beloved classics “When You Wish Upon a Star” and “I’ve Got No Strings” and is one you won’t want to miss!

Tickets for adults or children remain only $9 and are available online at the FBT website, www.fortbendtheatre.com. For group discounts or for more information, please call 281-208-3333.
