Two Sugar Land 12 year old baseball players make USA Texas Regional team

Kaden Kram and John Henderson, both from Sugar Land, earned spots on the 16 player roster of the 2013 USA Texas Region NTIS baseball team (National Team Identification Series).

This team represents South Texas and Louisiana in a tournament to identify 18

players to represent the USA in international world championship tournaments.

The boys earned there spot on the team by a day long tryout on August 10, 2013 –

over 100 players with birthdays on or after 1/1/2002 competed for the 16 man roster.

Kaden Kram is slotted to play catcher and pitcher for the USA Texas region squad and plays with the Columbia Angels locally in Sugar Land. John Henderson is playing 1st base and pitching and plays with the Fort Bend Bulls out of Sugar Land, TX. Both Kaden and John attend Fort Bend Christian Academy and are in 6th grade.

Kaden Kram plays with Columbia Angels and John Henderson plays with the Fort Bend Bulls both teams out of Sugar Land.

The NTIS will be played 9/5-9/8 in Raleigh, NC at the USA Baseball National

Training Complex. There will be 14 other teams from across the country in this tournament or about 250 players total from which 24 will be selected to form the 2014 12U USA National Team (birthdays after 1/1/2002).
