Learn about online job resources at library

Fort Bend County Libraries has a variety of helpful online resources for people looking for a job. Learn more about these free resources when the First Colony Branch Library presents “Online Job Resources @ the Library” on Tuesday, October 22, beginning at 10:00 am, in the Conference Room of the library, located at 2121 Austin Parkway in Sugar Land.

The Adult Services staff will provide an overview of the library’s online databases and Internet links that provide information and tools for job hunters. Learn how to research careers and employers, find online job postings, improve a resumé, and much more.

The program is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “First Colony Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2800, or by visiting the library.
