Fort Bend ISD celebrates school leaders during Principals Month

Fort Bend ISD joins communities across the country in honoring school leaders during National Principals Month. National Principals Month gives us an opportunity to formally thank our principals and to share with the community all the great things that principals do to support our students and staff. The key to student success is a great school, and the key to a great school is a great principal.

“Principals have many roles as leaders in their schools,” said Board President Jim Rice. “They are instructional leaders, community builders, role models, disciplinarians, guardians of policy mandates and initiatives, problem solvers and more. We are so appreciative of all they do daily to ensure that every child has a high-quality education.”

In celebration of principals, the Board of Trustees paid tribute to principals at their Regular Board Meeting on October 14. FBISD’s Superintendent, District’s Executive Team and Department of School Leadership also hosted a special luncheon for all principals on October 12.

Throughout October, join FBISD in showing appreciation to all principals, associate principals, and assistant principals for their valuable contributions to our schools, district, state and country.
