Intro to Facebook class offered November 19

Would you like to keep in touch and share pictures with family and friends on Facebook? Fort Bend County Libraries will present an introductory program for people who would like to learn more about this popular social-networking website, “Introduction to Facebook,” on Tuesday, November 19, beginning at 10:00 am, in the Computer Lab at the Sienna Branch Library, 8411 Sienna Springs Blvd in Missouri City.

The Adult Services staff of the library will show how to set up a Facebook account, search for friends, make “friend requests,” and write wall posts. Those attending this class should have a basic working knowledge of computers, and must have a personal email account before attending the class.

The class is free, but seating is limited and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “Sienna Branch Library,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2952, or by visiting the library.
