Trick shooting… it’s only for the movies

By LeaAnne Klentzman

So, last week when a gang of reprobates are showing off their pistol pack’n acumen at a local party, imagine, it all went wrong when one buddy shot another and killed him, on accident of course.

He was a buddy. After that kind of shock, who’s gonna think clear, so they load the dead buddy in the back seat of the shooter’s Caddie and off they go….  But not very far.

Umm, hum, Seems a wrecker driver was trolling the streets for business when he saw a Caddie smoking, stranded along the border of Meadows Place and Stafford. Makes ya wonder what got his attention first, the smoke or all the folks scrambling from the car like rats leaving a sinking ship?

Sensing something was amiss, the wrecker driver notified police.  Imagine the po-po’s surprise when they arrive and find a dead guy in the back seat of the stranded, smoking Caddie.  And …imagine this, that discovery was as much a shock to the Caddie driver as it was the po-po.  According to him, they had been out party’n and his buddy musta died on the trip back from Houston while he was driving, or something. Or something… like a manslaughter. He was bagged and tagged.

Just proves that trick shoot’n is for Wyatt Earp and his ilk, not a bunch of punks playing gun slinger.
