Fort Bend County woman abducted and assaulted

By LeaAnne Klentzman

A Northeast Fort Bend County woman was abducted and assaulted along a neighborhood roadway last week as she jogged.

Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel said Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in finding the two men who abducted and sexually assaulted a woman in the early morning hours of October 14, 2013.

According to Haenel, the victim was out jogging near the intersection of Mission Oak Drive and Dora Meadows Drive in the Kingsbridge subdivision shortly after 1 o’clock in the morning. As she jogged, she noticed what is described as silver Chevrolet HHR SUV type vehicle pass her. That car turned around, approached the victim a second time. Heanel said, “There were two men, both black males, inside the vehicle. The backseat passenger forced her into the vehicle at gunpoint. She got into the back seat and they drove to her residence and demanded money. The backseat passenger searched her and took her phone and keys. The driver got out of the vehicle and searched her car and returned with her wallet.”

Haenel also said that the backseat passenger sexually assaulted the woman and the duo drove her to Beechnut and Sugarland-Howell Road where they put her out of the car.

The driver was described as heavy set and wore glasses. He had loose curls in his hair in an afro style and a goatee. The backseat passenger is a thin man who wore a hoodie and had his face covered with what may have been a bandana.

Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
