Named one of America’s safest communities, the City of Sugar Land is enhancing its safety and quality of life amenities with an upcoming bond initiative. The Sugar Land Parks Bond includes three projects: a new 65-acre major community park, a 128-acre parkland with adjacent festival site, and nearly 10 miles of hike and bike trails and bridges throughout the city.
Voters in Sugar Land can learn more about plans to enhance local community parks and pedestrian safety by visiting Citizens for Sugar Land Parks online. Citizens for Sugar Land Parks is a specific purpose political action committee, and the online portal provides resources and education about the proposed parks bond measures on the Nov. 5 voting ballot.
