Free “SAT” practice test offered at Sienna Branch Library

Representatives from Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions will conduct a free practice SAT test at Sienna Branch Library, on Saturday, November 9, from 10:00 am to 2:15 pm, in the Large Meeting Room of the library, which is located at 8411 Sienna Springs in Missouri City.

Students will take a full-length practice SAT test to gain experience and become better prepared for the actual test. The SAT is used by U.S. colleges to determine admissions and to award scholarships and grants. The test is three hours and 45 minutes long, and consists of three sections – Critical Reading, Writing, and Math. Students may bring a non-graphing calculator and two #2 pencils.

The session is free, but seating is limited and reservations are required. Registration will begin on October 28. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “Sienna Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2952, or by visiting the library.
