OCuSOFT, Inc. hosts a community Halloween event
On October 31, OCuSOFT, Inc., a privately held research, development and supply company specializing in eye and skin care, opened the doors of its corporate headquarters in Rosenberg, Texas to host a special Halloween event for the local community as well as their employee’s families.
Over 60 children from Kidzville Learning Academy and Little Oaks Learning Center were treated to a party that consisted of trick-or-treating throughout the facility, face painting, a haunted house, a photo booth and a class on the importance of eyelid hygiene conducted by OCuSOFT®’s CEO and Co-Chairman, Cynthia Barratt. In the spirit of Halloween, the entire OCuSOFT® Team dressed up in full costumes to hand out treats which were all kindly donated by employees as well as several businesses in the Rosenberg area.
As a special treat, Mayor Vincent Morales also paid a visit to join in on the festivities and judge OCuSOFT®’s annual company-wide costume contest. The winning team, pictured with The Mayor, not only dressed up as Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, but they also decorated their work area to look like scenes from the movie!
“OCuSOFT® is a family-oriented company and we take pride in being able to provide a fun work environment for our Team while giving back to the community” said Cynthia L. Barratt, CEO and Co-Chairman of OCuSOFT, Inc. “As a longtime member and supporter of the Rosenberg community, we are happy to provide a safe place for children in the area to trick-or-treat and enjoy the holiday.”
