Richmond Poet receives five poetry awards

Terry Jude Miller

Richmond poet, Terry Jude Miller, received five poetry awards at the annual awards banquet of the Poetry Society of Texas held recently in Dallas.  Miller received the Sandia Writers Prize, the Betty Blackmore Memorial Award, the Harry Kallander Memorial Award, the San Antonio Poets Association Prize, and the Poetry Society of Texas Annual Banquet Award.

Miller is a member of the Academy of American Poets, the Poetry Society of Texas, the Gulf Coast Poets Society, and Poets Northwest.   His books of poetry are available through Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, and Amazon.com.

Miller is retired from the Boy Scouts of America and Kaplan University.   He currently works for Schlumberger in the Marketing Communications division.

Miller and his wife, Gloria, live in Pecan Grove, and have two daughters, Amber Showalter of Denton, and Heather Miller, of Katy.
