George Ranch High Football Team receives Autism Awareness Award

Hope for Three, Autism Advocates, present its “Caring Friends” award to coaches and students instrumental in providing an inclusion opportunity for fellow high school classmate, Griffin Clark, who has autism. Caring Friends Award presentation at George Ranch High School’s Homecoming Pep Rally was held November 7, at the school located at 8181 FM 762, in Richmond. “Caring Friends” honor those making a difference through acceptance and understanding of youth with unique abilities such as autism spectrum disorder. With the coach’s encouragement, Griffin, a high school junior, has been given the privilege to lead the football team on to the field at several games, as well as participate as a lettered softball manager with the softball team. Shown leading the football team onto the field is Griffin Clark leading the pack.
