omg! Inside Fort Bend 11/20/13

Looks like Stafford’s got a police redneck stealth truck out in the streets!

The Stafford PD stealth truck that was spotted looks somewhat like this one, but it may not be a Ford pick-up.

The City of Stafford has an unmarked cop car that’s not really a car and it’s not completely unmarked.  It’s a black pickup truck with the looks of a redneck vehicle, but there’s no gun rack in the back. It was spotted when a lady police officer got out of it over at the former Ethan Allen furniture store alongside U.S. 59 near Kirkwood.  “It was a double head turner,” said the resident who called about it. “I could barely make out the gray ghost-y letters on the side that said Stafford and the word police was probably there, too.” Up until just recently, most police cars would stand out, “like they’re supposed to, like the vickies,” he said referring to the Crown Victorias. If you don’t have a keen eye and speed in the City of Stafford, watch out!  The black stealth redneck looking pick-up

with emergency lighting hidden in the front grille may sneak up right behind you for a big surprise…probably not a good one.
