Kirstyn Thomas signs Softball Scholarship with University of Washington

Kirstyn Thomas, a student at George Bush High School, signed her letter of intent and accepted her full scholarship to play softball for the University of Washington.  The Huskies were the 2009 National Champions and look to add to their talent with the signing of one of the area’s best pitchers in Thomas. In Kirstyn’s junior year she posted a 1.66 ERA while striking out 171 batters in 16 wins and batted .600.  Kirstyn was voted most valuable player of Fort Bend for the 2013 season.  Kirstyn is accompanied by her coach Chris Cipolla, parents Darrel and Karen Thomas and her brother Dillon who is currently in the Colorado Rockies minor league system.
