Learn how to share your digital photos at library

The family is coming over, and you’re dying to show them your vacation pictures from your digital camera. The only problem is you don’t know a megabyte from a mega-nibble. What do you do? Don’t panic! Fort Bend County Libraries’ George Memorial Library, 1001 Golfview in Richmond, will present a beginners’ program, “Saving and Sharing Your Digital Photos,” on Monday, December 9, beginning at 10:00 am, in the Computer Lab.

Learn the basics of managing and sharing your digital pictures. In this class, you will learn about transferring pictures from a digital camera to a computer, saving them to a USB thumb drive, and sending pictures by email or posting on Facebook. Please bring your digital camera, a USB cable to connect the camera to the computer, and a USB thumb drive on which to save your pictures.

The program is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “George Memorial,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-341-2604, or by visiting the library.
